Locks, Stock & Two Standpipe Strainers

January came and went, then did February and now March is well and truly hitting us.  With worldwide scares of Covid-19 we have seen the Gulf Host 2020 exhibition postponed until November, HVAC & Refrigeration exhibition postponed until 2021, FoodEx also postponed until 2021 and that is just to name a few.  On the plus side, we did manage to exhibit at the Hotel, Restaurant & Catering show at the start of the month.  It was great to see as many new and existing customers as we did and appreciated the company of Rational UK who exhibited opposite us.  Needless to say, we never went hungry those few days!

So the big question we are hearing a lot is “Is the Coronavirus going to affect your stock?”

Oxford Hardware’s purchasing department deserves great appreciation here - some believe they have psychic powers and may have predicted the future.  We currently have more stock on our shelves than ever before so as always can continue to provide our loyal customers with their every need whether that be locks and latches, heat lamps and dimmer switches, insert feet and castors, baffle filters and canopy lights, gas hoses and gas interlock systems or taps and pre-rinses units along with the rest of our ever expanding range of catering and refrigeration hardware.

In other news, we have now completed our range of standpipe strainers, adding the 350mm size to the already popular 200mm, 250mm and 300mm size.  These are to suit bowls at 380mm deep, most commonly the 760x510x380mm ‘pot wash’ bowls and will fit both a EURO waste (70mm flange) or a UK manufactured waste (80mm flange).
